Things that have happened since Seton Hall was last ranked

Here are just a few things that have happened since January 30, 2001:

• Four people have coached Seton Hall; two of whom were fired
• Two players from that 2001 team have died
• Seton Hall has made two NCAA Tournaments in men's basketball; they were not ranked in either year
• Rutgers has not made the NCAA Tournament in men's basketball
• Both my sister and I have earned one high school diploma and two college degrees
• The United States has entered two wars
• Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn have been created and changed society; Blogger has been acquired by Google and redefined from it's Blogspot roots
• MySpace has been created AND rendered obsolete by the social networking sites above
• The iPod has been created and rendered obsolete by the other products Apple created
• Seton Hall has had two full-time presidents and one interim president (who then became one of the full-time presidents)
• I have had two cousins get married
• On the flip side, I have had a cousin born with a second new cousin due any day now
• I have moved from Toledo to South Orange, from South Orange to Toledo, from Toledo to Charlotte, and have seriously considered moving from Charlotte to Columbus, Charlotte to Columbia, and Charlotte to Toledo (ongoing)
• Lost a parent and a grandparent to illness
• Welcomed a new member to my immediate family in the summer of 2008
